June 4th 2013 - Knowledge Market : urban agriculture edition

Tuesday, June 4th, between 6pm and 8pm will be held E-180's Knowledge Market : urban agriculture edition, as a fundraiser for Santropol Roulant. Join us for this unique event.

Spring is officially here (finally!) and it even feels like summer is not too far ahead. It's the same thing every year, yet we enjoy it everytime as if it was the first time... It's time to plant your seedlings (if it's not already done) and visit the market to take advantage of the first arrivals from the fields and woods of Quebec: fiddleheads, asparagus, rhubarb, sorrel, dandelion, garlic scapes ...

A 6 @ 8 of exchange on urban agriculture / gardening

E-180 is a revolutionary platform that brings us back to the source of learning: exchange. Conceived, designed and launched by a Montreal team, "E-180 is a matchmaking website that allows you to connect and learn with like-minded people, face to face, in a cafe, bar or over lunch."

We are all farmers. What's better than a festive 6@8 in which different actors & participants can meet to talk urban agriculture & gardening ? Lufa Farms are proud and thrilled to participate in this edition of E-180's knowledge market for the benefit of Santropol Roulant, an organization rooted in the Montreal community for nearly 20 years and known for its activities of "popote roulante" (meals on Wheels) but also active in urban agriculture (Santropol restaurant, Santropol coffee, bike shop, etc.)

We invite you to join us next Tuesday, June 4th, between 6pm and 8pm on Santropol's amazing rooftop. Take home gardening tips and discover Montreal AU initiatives and other farmers (or farmers-to-be) like you.

Spots are limited. Sign up here and encourage Santropol Roulant.
