Carrot, sweet potato and tomato soup

For me, winter is the season for soups and...soups. In addition to being comforting, they are tasty and filled with good things. The one that follows is a quick option and will provide you with a great portion of vegetables.
You can serve this soup as an appetizer or make it a complete meal by adding feta cheese or nuts on top!
	Ingredients 
	7 ??carrots (sliced)
	1 sweet potato, peeled, cut into cubes 
	1 onion, cut into cubes 
	1.5 cups chicken broth 
	1.5 cup cold water
	
	1/2 cup caned diced tomatoes 
	1/3 cup 35% cream 
	Few drops of Tabasco (to taste) 
	Salt & pepper

- In a large saucepan or pot, cook your carrots, sweet potatoes, onion, broth, water and tomatoes.
 - At medium-high heat, bring to a boil and boil for 20 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
 - In a blender, mix all ingredients until a smooth puree (add water if necessary.)
 - Add cream, tabasco, salt and pepper.
 - Serve hot soup decorated with cream or freshly ground pepper.
