Thank you and see you soon

Today Wednesday April 30th is my last day at Lufa. Last emails, last blog post and last cocktail hour with my lovely colleagues.

I want to tell them and I want you, THANK YOU.

To my colleagues, Ana, Nico, JM, Ahmad, Lassad, Pascal, Luciano, Olivier,  James, Lauren, Mo, you are extraordinary people, I learned from each of you and I look forward to seeing you and learning from you again in the future. I wish you courage in the adventure of building a local and sustainable food engine...

Thank you Lufavores. I want to tell you thank you for being part of this adventure and have fed me (hehe) with your ideas, comments and suggestions throughout the past two years. We may have met at one of our regular open-houses, at a conference or in a business program presentation, in a pick-up point or virtually on the Twittosphere. You have inspired me in the creation of events, recipes, newsletter, chalkboard drawings (!) and blog articles that reflect our common passion for food. This is literally thousands of Montrealers that gather their strength together with Lufa Farms' team. Thank you.

Thank you to producers and artisans with whom I had the chance to collaborate and exchange over the last two years. Imagine my luck: more than seventy farmers, bakers, pastry chefs, pasta artisans, chefs, bloggers all passionate and committed, convinced that by working together we can improve our health and the health of our local and regional food system. Thank you.

Thank you to all pick-up points coordinators with whom I exchanged about a thousand emails, morning, evening and weekends. Thank you for your openness and thank you for your patience. You are inspiring entrepreneurs and I was fortunate to discover each of your stories.

I will not be far away, perhaps still here on the blog. My time at Lufa helped me developed my artistic side and I've created my Facebook page where you'll find a monthly vegetable calendar to download for free and other veggie-artistic-related things. Long live Lufa!
