We’re simplifying our Lufavore subscriptions.

To help us further our mission of creating a better food system, we’re asking all subscribers to switch to a weekly basket subscription. When we started out, we only offered this kind of basket but in 2020, we created a second subscription type in order to keep up and continue supplying Lufavores. We’re now simplifying back to this one subscription type of automatic weekly baskets - fully flexible and completely customizable as always. This is how it all started, and we feel it’s truly the best way forward for our community and the challenges that lie ahead.

By remaining a Lufavore, you’ll be impacting the community in many ways. For starters, you will be helping us better plan and predict how much food we and all of our partners need to grow, harvest, prep, cook, and bake. The more consistently Lufavores order a weekly basket, the more we can prepare baskets to order - which ultimately means less waste. This model will also improve our availability of all your fave products, and help us stock our Marketplace as we go. We’re talking less waste and less sold-outs!

Being a Lufavore remains as flexible as ever with the ability to cancel your basket up to midnight the day before delivery. And it’s easier than ever to cancel, skip, or put your basket on hold for up to six months at a time.

Another awesome perk is that you’ll start accumulating Giveback credits! You can make up to 3% of your orders back in free Marketplace credits at the end of the year - the more you order, the more you earn. This loyalty program is our way of saying thank you for supporting our mission every day.

So, as of March 28, 2022, we’ll be discontinuing the option to manually activate baskets. We hope you’ll remain in the ranks of those eating fresh, local, responsible. And don’t hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions anytime. We can’t move mountains without memberships!
