Description
At Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system and a huge part of this is achieved by growing food where people live, and growing it responsibly. With exciting new projects on the horizon and a motivated team, we’re looking for someone who’s thrilled by the idea of improving the current food system to become our Chief of Staff.
The Chief of Staff plays a pivotal role in furthering the company’s vision through project management and supporting all departments to achieve that goal. No two days are the same for the Chief of Staff - our ideal candidate is a Jack of all trades who’s extremely independent and resourceful, adapts to sudden challenges, an all-around first principles thinker, a problem-solver, an excellent communicator, and someone who’s comfortable working wherever and whenever. They’ll liaise with our leadership team and may serve as acting department heads to help scale up a department from within as the company evolves. They’ll be a confidante to the Chief Executive and sounding board for working out ideas and issues with the team. They report to our co-founders and work mostly behind the scenes, pushing forward projects and making sure they run smoothly.
Typically, the Chief of Staff is dedicated to one department, and they’ll interact with this team directly, taking on the role of acting manager when necessary. If you would thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply!
