DescriptionAt Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system and a huge part of this is achieved by growing food where people live, and growing it responsibly. We also partner with hundreds of local farmers and foodmakers to offer a full lineup of fresh, local, responsible groceries through our online Marketplace, an ecommerce site we developed in-house. To help shape the future of our product experience, we’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Product Designer. This role is about building the design foundation that’ll power our ability to innovate, adapt, and deliver exceptional value to our users. You’ll create a unified design system, accelerate iteration, and unlock the ability to experiment at speed. By combining systems thinking with creativity, and design expertise with AI-powered tools, you’ll ensure our products are intuitive, scalable, and adaptable for the long term. Responsibilities•Build and maintain a scalable, reusable design system;•Partner with product and engineering teams to rapidly test and launch improvements;•Use AI tools to accelerate workflows and unlock new possibilities in design;•Deliver user experiences that are both delightful and highly functional;•Share insights and assets that strengthen our design practice over time;•Help shape the foundation of our design practice;•Work at the intersection of design, AI, and product growth.Requirements•5+ years of UX/UI product design experience, with strong system-level design skills;•Expertise in design tools such as Figma, prototyping platforms, and AI-driven design workflows;•Ability to balance rapid iteration with thoughtful, high-quality execution;•Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, and business teams;•A strategic mindset that connects design decisions to long-term outcomes.Schedule•Full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.Benefits•You’ll be eligible to participate in the firm’s health insurance, dental, and disability programs after completion of a probationary period (paid 50% by the employee and 50% by Lufa Farms);•Access to TELUS Health Virtual Care (direct contact to health professionals by phone, video, or chat) and the Employee and Family Assistance Program (professional, short-term counselling, covering a broad range of interpersonal issues);•30% discount on your Lufa Farms basket.
