The sales representative will leverage their skills to actively contribute to the company’s growth. You’ll serve as an ambassador for Lufa Farms as part of our B2B direct sales operations at Place des Producteurs in Montreal. In short, your mission will be to convince wholesale buyers to choose our fresh products grown without synthetic pesticides for their professional operations, while adapting to their needs in terms of price, volume, and quality. Responsibilities
Represent Lufa Farms at our Kiosk, promote and sell our produce directly;
Negotiate the sale of our products while remaining attentive to buyers’ needs in terms of volume, price, and quality;
Coordinate sales booth setup and takedown;
Prepare a report following each shift and maintain statistics on sales, surplus, and stock throughout the shift;
Support the prospecting of new recurring buyers and ensure their satisfaction with regards to our produce;
Assist the Sales Manager in all related tasks.
Requirements
Excellent negotiation skills and able to price items quickly and adequately depending on volume and quality as desired by the buyers;
Excellent spoken French and basic English skills;
Ability to use a payment terminal;
Basic knowledge of Excel to manage stocks and follow-up on sales reports.
Assets
Direct sales/marketplace experience;
Passion for food and agriculture;
Jigger or forklift certification (to move the pallets around when on the kiosk);
Well versed in sustainability, food systems, and food;
Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the Lufa Farms mission.
Schedule
35-40 hours per week, depending on availability;
6 days a week excluding Saturday.
