(Re)introducing our seasonal recipes.
A while back, we set out to create recipes using our seasonal and traceable Marketplace ingredients without all the extra packaging that comes with your typical pre-portioned meal kit. Beyond that, we wanted to allow flexibility and the ability to adapt each recipe to any culinary preferences or restrictions out there.
New name, same mission. After a short break and a little tinkering, we're relaunching our meal kits category under a new name - seasonal recipes. But the aim remains the same:
- Use local and traceable ingredients by featuring seasonal and lesser-known Marketplace items.
- Reduce waste with simple recipes designed to use up all or most of each ingredient.
- Easy and flexible recipes with all the ingredients found in one place and the ability to customize each one to your liking.
More feedback for better recipes. We recently asked some of our Lufavores what they'd like to see when it came to our seasonal recipes. What came of it was a resounding request for easy and practical meals. Taking on the challenge is Anais, our plant-based warrior and avid foodie who'll be whipping up veggie-based dishes while Fred, head of our purchasing team, jumped at the chance to create recipes for omnivores despite his crazy hectic schedule.
