Apple & pear granola crumble

Traditional, heartwarming and simple. This apple and pear crumble is surprisingly easy to make.
Ingredients
- 4 apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
- 2 pears (peeled, cored and sliced)
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour

¾ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground cardamon
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 2 cups granola
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and butter a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, cardamon, and ginger.
- Add the apple slices, pear slices, and lemon juice to your spices and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to your buttered baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, using a wooden spoon, gently mix butter and granola until clumps form.
- Crumble this mixture evenly over the apples and the pears.
- Cover all with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- When the time is up, remove the foil and continue baking for another 20 to 30 minutes or until crumble is crisp and begins to brown on top.
- When done, serve on its own or with a scoop of your favourite ice cream. Enjoy!
