  • Plates
  •  2 mixing bowls

Instructions

Preparation

  • Mix all dry ingredients in a Mason jar, and all wet ingredients in a separate Mason jar.
  • Start by building a campfire, and keep enough wood to feed the fire for at least 1 hour.
  • Place your grill above indirect heat, close enough to keep it warm.
  • Prepare your ingredients while the fire heats up.
  • In a large bowl, pour the wet mixture, then slowly incorporate the dry ingredients.
  • Butter the stewpot and sprinkle with sugar.

  • Pour the cake mixture in the stewpot, add the berries and fruits on top.
  • Cover the pot and wrap it in aluminum foil.
  • Place the stewpot on the grill and make sure you have enough embers to keep it warm.
  • Let cook for at least an hour before you open the pot. If the cake is not cooked enough, leave for another 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, and enjoy!
